Hi, I'm Mandy! I'm a 73-pound Terrier mix with a big heart and lots of love to give. I'm a very sweet, friendly, and social girl who absolutely loves being loved on. If you're giving out affection, I'll happily put my two front paws in your lap and soak up all the attention I can get! I can be very anxious and on edge in unfamiliar environments, though, and I'll need some time to decompress when I first arrive in my new home. I know that with patience, understanding, and a calm environment, I'll have a much better chance to relax and let my true personality shine. I would love a home where I have plenty of space to move around and feel comfortable rather than feeling confined. A home with a yard or easy access to outdoor adventures would be wonderful, as I would really benefit from getting out often to explore and experience new things at my own pace. Because smaller spaces may make my anxiety harder to manage, I would do best in a home rather than an apartment. I'm a tremendously friendly girl underneath all of these nerves, and I truly believe there is a happy, loving, affectionate girl waiting to blossom once I feel safe and secure. All I need is a patient family willing to give me the time, space, and reassurance I need to find my confidence! My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society. All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
