Abner is an amazing, sweet boy who loves everyone he meets! He’s thriving in his foster home, where he enjoys going for walks, exploring new places, cuddling, and meeting new people. He absolutely adores his canine companions and loves running around the yard, playing tug-of-war, and cuddling with them every night. He also loves playing fetch and has already learned to sit for treats! He is crate and potty trained, has lived with older children, and does well home alone. Abner is eager to please and would make a wonderful addition to a loving home ready to welcome his affectionate, playful personality. He needs a home without cats or small animals as he likes to chase, but with all the love he has to give, Abner is sure to make a fantastic companion! He has been available for three weeks! Please allow up to 24 hours for my foster parent to respond. Inquiries are answered in the order received, and the foster parent will let you know your place in line if there are other interested adopters. A meet-and-greet is required before adoption. Adopters should be available to meet within 48 hours of inquiring; otherwise, preference may be given to the next person in line who can meet sooner. For everyone’s safety, current pets are not able to meet the foster animal before adoption. After the meet-and-greet, you will have 24 hours to visit the HSPPR Adoptions Lobby (11:00am–4:30pm) to complete paperwork and finalize the adoption.
