Clyde (A571757) arrived as a stray from Madison County nearly a month ago, and somehow this good old boy is only now getting his first adoption post. Maybe that fits his personality, though. Clyde is not the dog that demands attention or insists on being the center of the room. He's simply a kind, easygoing dog hoping someone notices him. At 6 years old, Clyde has reached that wonderful stage of life where he knows who he is. He's not trying to break speed records in your backyard or convince you to run a marathon. He's content to enjoy the simple things: A nice walk, good sniff, a tasty treat. a person to spend time with. Clyde walks well on a leash and seems happiest when he's outside exploring the world at his own pace. Every scent is worth investigating, and every walk is a chance for a new adventure. He also doesn't seem bothered by the other dogs he passes while walking through our adoption floor, making him an easy companion for outings around town. One thing Clyde is especially enthusiastic about is treats. If you happen to have a snack in your pocket, you'll quickly become one of his favorite people.
