Evelyn (A571825) arrived as a stray from Madison County just a few days ago and has not yet been reclaimed by her family. She is now on our adoption floor where everyone is hoping she gets a much deserved second chance. This girl has already made it clear she has a whole lot of sweetness bundled up in her energetic little self. Evelyn is a fun, lively dog who loves to zoom around outside and chase toys. She walks well on a leash and has shown strong signs that she may already be housetrained. When the treats come out, her sweetness doubles. She is excited, wiggly and ready to show off. While she is new to the shelter, there is one quirk we have noticed. Evelyn appears to have some prey drive, so a home without cats or smaller animals would be the safest match for her. She is a young, active girl who simply needs the right environment and someone who enjoys her enthusiasm. Evelyn is estimated to be around 2 years and weighs 34 pounds. All animals adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are microchipped, appropriately vaccinated, spayed/neutered and given a 30 day flea/tick preventative. Ready to meet Evelyn? Stop by 4950 Triana Blvd SW in Huntsville, Alabama. No appointment is necessary to meet our available animals. All adopters must be 19 years or older and be able to provide a valid ID.
