Meet Benny – Your Happy, Curious Companion! Benedict Cumberchow aka Benny is a handsome, approximately 3-year-old, 49-lb Husky/Chow mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This friendly, happy boy has really come out of his shell, and it's been wonderful watching his personality shine. Benny is curious, social, and enjoys being part of the action. He's a pretty chill guy at home, but don't let that fool you! He still has an active side and needs a home that can provide regular exercise, daily walks, and mental stimulation. He's looking for someone who enjoys getting out and about and can keep both his mind and body engaged. Multiple long walks each day or an equally active lifestyle would be ideal. Other Dogs: Benny is dog-friendly and could enjoy having a canine companion. Cats: He's shown promising manners with a very dog-friendly cat! He was curious, approached to sniff and investigate, but did not chase when the cat walked away. A calm, confident cat who doesn't run from dogs may be a good match. Proper introductions are still important. Outings: Benny is an excellent car rider when safely tethered and was a wonderful patient at the vet. He was friendly with the veterinary staff and handled his vaccines like a champ. He's also great for grooming! Benny has made such a lovely transformation, and now he's ready for the next chapter: finding a family who will appreciate his friendly personality, curiosity, and happy spirit. ** Benny is being fostered in Iowa.
