Canela is a large, female cat around 1.5 years old. She has a medium-length coat and is house trained. Canela is spayed and fully vaccinated, ensuring she's ready for her new home in Wheeling, IL. She’s a sweet momma to her kittens and deserves a loving family to help her gain confidence in her new surroundings.

About Canela

Canela is a devoted mother to her litter of fiveβ€”four girls and one boy. They were discovered near a church, and since then, she has been fostered with her kittens, nurturing and caring for them. At around 1.5 years old, she’s surprisingly well-behaved, especially considering her experiences. Canela is looking for a patient and loving family as she remains a bit wary around people. She's happy to receive gentle pets on her head and back, often responding with slow blinks and soft purrs. While she seems to have a preference for safety and comfort, she is actively being litter trained, showing promise for her transition into a forever home. Canela also gets along well with other cats, making her a perfect addition to a multi-pet household.
