About Mason
Mason is an 11-year-old gray tabby with a big round belly who was picked up as a stray in Belvidere, IL. After some initial vet visits, it turned out he's just a hefty older guy with diabetes. The diabetes doesn’t seem to bother him. He’s comfortable getting his insulin shots twice a day and takes it all in stride. Mason enjoys lounging in a cozy spot, appreciates a good petting or brushing session, and seems to perk up when he hears a compliment. He gets along with other cats and children, making him a solid fit for a calm family home. Prior experience with diabetic cats is a bonus, but not a requirement—he’s easygoing about his care. Mason’s sweet, mellow nature makes him an ideal match for someone looking for quiet companionship. Born under the sign of Taurus, he truly embodies the relaxed, easygoing side of the zodiac.
