He loves stretching out in his bed for some alone time but will happily come find you for belly rubs, butt scratches, or snuggles on the couch. Lex still has a playful side and loves running around with you. He’s the perfect mix of playful and relaxed, making him a great companion for someone who enjoys both activity and downtime. He walks wonderfully without pulling and isn’t overly interested in other dogs when passing them on walks. He’s happy to enjoy his strolls without making a fuss! He is potty trained, non-destructive when left alone, and even likes sleeping in his crate at night with the door open. Lex came into the shelter with another pup and seems to do well with other dogs. As always, slow introductions are recommended to help everyone feel comfortable. Lex loves putting his head in your lap while you’re working, just in case you need a little reminder to take a break and give him some attention. Perfectly lovable size! At around 40 pounds, Lex is a compact, cuddly companion with plenty of love to give. And don’t forget the tongue! Lex’s tongue has a mind of its own and loves to flop out the side of his mouth, making for some seriously adorable photos. It’s just one more thing that makes this sweet boy so special!
