A LITTLE SHY, A LOT SWEET... MEET STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE! Female | Lab mix | 7 months | 25 lbs Hi, friends! I'm Strawberry Shortcake, and yes—I'm as sweet as my name! I came from Texas after spending most of my young life in a shelter. Home life felt a little scary at first, but I'm discovering that soft beds, yummy treats, and people who love you are pretty wonderful! Every day, I'm getting braver and letting my personality shine. My favorite things? Playing with toys Exploring outside Having fun with my foster dog siblings Enjoying treats Snoozing next to my foster mom I get along great with the resident dogs! I'm curious about the cat, but I leave him alone—apparently, he didn't sign up for puppy playtime. I haven't met little kids yet, so that's still an unknown. I'm working on keeping my paws on the floor when I get excited, and my foster mom says I'm making great progress with potty training! All I need is a patient, kind family who will help me keep building confidence and give me time to blossom. In return, I've got a whole lifetime of sweetness to share. Could your home be the sweetest chapter of my story? (70) Apply to adopt at BuddysRescue.org
