This sweet, social little guy has an infectious enthusiasm for life and a personality that's impossible not to love. Chowder has been raised in a loving foster home since he was just three weeks old, and all that early socialization has helped him become an exceptionally well-adjusted puppy. He's wonderful with other dogs, cats, and children, and approaches new friendships with a wagging tail and plenty of affection. His favorite activities include playing with toys, collecting cuddles, and generously distributing puppy kisses. Chowder has a fantastic demeanor and the kind of adaptable, cheerful personality that will make him a wonderful addition to a variety of households. While his mom weighs approximately 15–20 pounds, we suspect Chowder may grow into a medium-sized adult. With his sweet disposition and endless supply of affection, Chowder is ready to become someone's very favorite part of the day! Chowder is a 2-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $600 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Chowder is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
