About Oreo

Oreo is a sweet, young pup navigating the challenges of shelter life. Recently returned after being adopted six months ago, he finds himself anxious in this environment. When Oreo was in the interaction pen, he was hesitant and frightened. It wasn’t until Taco, a friendly canine, was nearby that Oreo finally wagged his tail. While they didn’t play together, Oreo seemed comforted by Taco's presence. Once he settled down, Oreo enjoyed my company, happily accepting treats and affection. He even rested his head on my knee, showing his need for connection. Until Oreo feels secure, the shelter can feel overwhelming for him.
