Luckie is a large female mixed breed dog. She is a young girl who is altered and current on vaccinations. Living in Athens, GA, she is looking for a kind-hearted adopter who can offer her the love and care she deserves.

About Luckie

Luckie is a beautiful young lady with a gentle and sweet nature. When first approached, she showed a bit of shyness, ducking her head as if to say she needed reassurance. After a few soft scratches on her neck and back, she relaxed and began to enjoy the attention, eagerly awaiting more affection. Luckie is calm and composed in all of her actions, patiently waiting by the gate when it was time to return to her kennel. Unfortunately, she is currently heartworm positive and will only be available through rescue, foster, or foster-to-adopt after her stray hold ends. Once she receives treatment for her heartworms, her adoption will be open. Anyone who takes this darling girl home is sure to feel lucky indeed. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
