Say hello to ROXY! ROXY is two years old and was found covered in urine and feces staining, indicating that she was confined in her own waste for an extended period of time. She was abandoned behind a church in a nearby town. Thankfully a good samaritan intervened on her behalf so she was not struck and killed in the roadway, but instead safely retrieved by Animal Control. That very same good samaritan then lobbied Animal Alliance to take her into our care, which we did. ROXY is a nice girl who likes having a job. She loves to go on walks, and she has a wonderful demeanor and disposition, making it all the more heartbreaking that she was mistreated in the early part of her life. Can you be ROXY’s person and give her a wonderful second chapter? This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is de-wormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick preventatives. Animal Alliance does not adopt adult dogs (over 9 months old) into households with children under 9 years of age due to the risk of bites. Puppies 9 months of age or younger can be adopted into households with young children ages 4 and older. We do not adopt to families with children 3 years and younger or expectant families due to the safety risk for infants and toddlers.
