Please say hello to HERO, a very special boy. HERO, a 2-year-old pit-mix, was rescued from being starved to almost death. The vet report stated that he was hours from death. Despite his sad beginnings, he’s a happy, playful, and friendly boy. He has said goodbye to his horrific past and is now waiting patiently for his forever home. Hero loves to hang with the ladies, and his BFF is Erin (see her bio!). This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is de-wormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick preventatives. Animal Alliance does not adopt adult dogs (over 9 months old) into households with children under 9 years of age due to the risk of bites. Puppies 9 months of age or younger can be adopted into households with young children ages 4 and older. We do not adopt to families with children 3 years and younger or expectant families due to the safety risk for infants and toddlers.
