It’s MARSHA! This is MARSHA. She's a two year-old female Hound recovering from a severe case of mange. She was found with badly infected skin, abandoned at a rural property as you can see from the before photo she was quite the mess. MARSHA has gained 10 pounds since she haze been with us and has 10 more to go. She should be about 55 pounds at proper weight now that her skin is being treated for mange and bacterial and fungal infection. MARSHA’s on the mend and we fully expect her to have a beautiful head of hair by Christmas. This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is de-wormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick preventatives. Animal Alliance does not adopt adult dogs (over 9 months old) into households with children under 9 years of age due to the risk of bites. Puppies 9 months of age or younger can be adopted into households with young children ages 4 and older. We do not adopt to families with children 3 years and younger or expectant families due to the safety risk for infants and toddlers.
