About Bear
Meet Bear! Bear is a 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier with a weight of around 55 lbs. He carries a unique charm, not because he’s everybody’s friend, but because of the deep loyalty and sensitivity he shows to those he genuinely trusts. Bear thrives in a calm environment, ideally suited for a single woman or couple who can provide a low-traffic home. While it may take him about five days to feel comfortable and settle in, the reward is a remarkable bond filled with loyalty. Having spent time on the streets, Bear approaches new faces with caution. He needs a patient owner who understands that trust is built over time. Surprisingly, he interacts well with other dogs, displaying respect and submissiveness. However, he needs a structured setting and does not do well with chaotic groups. Bear is housebroken and prefers a home without children or cats, where his boundaries are respected. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready for the right person to give him a forever home. Being with Bear is not about immediate connection; it’s about building a lasting, protective companionship. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
