About Nara

Nara is a delightful young lady, weighing around 23 pounds, who was rescued from a dog meat farm in South Koreaโ€”a practice that's now illegal. Transferred to the NHSPCA from Humane World for Animals, she is sociable and craves affection, often seeking cuddles in your lap. Nara is making strides in her leash training, showing improvement each day, and has participated in doggie play groups, displaying a playful nature that invites interaction with other dogs. She may be unfamiliar with common household items, like televisions and dishwashers, which could initially startle her. Nara has not yet been fully tested for potty training, but with patience and consistency, she can learn what is expected. This sweet girl deserves a loving home, and if you think youโ€™re the right fit for her happily-ever-after, come meet Nara today! You can visit the New Hampshire SPCA to meet Nara and her friends from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays. This fall, we're also open until 7:00 p.m. on Thursdays! Have questions? Call (603) 772-2921 ext. 110 or email info@nhspca.org.
