About Soy the velcro dog

Meet Soy, your future walking and cuddle buddy! This spayed female is about a year old and brings a delightful mix of affection and playfulness. Soy loves spending time with her people and furry friends, so a compatible canine buddy can really help her thrive. While she shares her current foster home with a male Jindo mix and a cat, she’s a bit timid around the feline and prefers gentle introductions all around. Soy enjoys leisurely walks followed by cozy cuddle sessions. She has been known to bark when alone, but she relaxes when she has company, making her perfect for someone who can be home often. House training is in progress; she prefers outdoor potty breaks but can use pads indoors when necessary. This lovely girl originally hailed from an overcrowded shelter in Incheon, South Korea, and now she's safe in Danvers, MA, hoping to find her forever home. With her excellent leash manners, she’s all set to join you on adventures. Ready to make her your own? Apply today and start your journey together!

Questions about Soy the velcro dog

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Soy, being a mixed breed of Jindo and Shiba Inu, thrives in a loving home where she's not left alone for long periods. She would appreciate companionship, whether from humans or other dogs.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Soy enjoys walks and outdoor playtime. A yard would be nice, but regular strolls and visits to a park can also keep her happy and active.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

Soy's experience with children is limited, so very young kids aren't her best match. She would do well in a home with older children who can respect her space.
