Grace
AvailableGrace is a female large mixed-breed dog, currently a baby at just 2 months old. Her beautiful coat is a silvery gray, medium in length. About Grace
Grace and her sister Lolo were born on September 1st in an overcrowded county shelter in South Texas. At just two days old, they came into the care of Good Catch Dog Rescue, starting their journey toward forever homes. Originally black, Grace's coat has transformed into a lovely silvery gray. As she grows, it’s a mystery what color she will become, but she has a thick winter coat and likely will thrive in cooler temperatures. This little puppy is already substantial, with big paws that suggest she won't stay tiny for long. Grace is observant, cautious, and affectionate—a delightful mix. She takes her time to assess her surroundings before diving into play. Having met many people and dogs at her foster home, she is eager to learn from the older pups. Interestingly, she shows no interest in cats, mirroring her mom, Norah. Grace divides her day between playful antics and well-deserved naps. At nine weeks, she weighed 13 pounds, 6 ounces, and is current on age-appropriate vaccinations, diligently following a deworming schedule. We seek a home with older children and a securely fenced yard where Grace can explore safely. Given her young age, an adopter who is home often and understands the importance of early socialization will be ideal. Patience, positive experiences, and routine are crucial for her development. While her journey has begun well, the best is yet to come. We hope to find a family ready to embrace the joys and challenges of puppyhood and help Grace become the wonderful dog she is destined to be.
