About Sonny Boy

Meet handsome Sonny Boy! This sweet dog is mostly blind, managing to navigate his surroundings well unless it's completely dark. At 6.5 years old and weighing about 48 lbs, Sonny came to our rescue after facing a tough transition following the passing of his owner. Initially extremely fearful at the county shelter, he has blossomed into a gentle soul since joining our foster care. Though he still needs time to adjust, once Sonny warms up to you, he becomes your loyal companion and shower of affection. He shares his foster home with eight other dogs of varying sizes and four cats, and he gets along wonderfully with all of them. House trained and low-to-medium energy, he embodies a gentle demeanor and great house manners. Sonny is fully vetted and just looking for a kind-hearted owner who can provide him a soft landing after a rough start in life.
