Captain is an adorable, healthy younger senior — a beagle/shepherd mix, around 9 or 10 years old — looking for a long-term foster or forever home. While he's lived peacefully with other dogs before, he's not keen on sharing his person, so we're seeking a dog-free home. Cats, however, are welcome! He's had feline friends in the past and gets along well with them. LIFESTYLE: Calm, easygoing, fine being left alone. Fully housebroken. Doesn't get on furniture or chew things he shouldn't. LIKES: Riding in a car, chasing a ball (and then you chasing him back), belly rubs, kids & babies of any kind, kitties, getting brushed LIKES NOT SO MUCH: Thunderstorms, baths (showers ok), hair dryers (towel drying a big YES), vacuum cleaners (even if off). A little too curious about fowl, so no chickens please. Just a good ol' boy lookig for a peaceful home and somebody to love and love him back.
