This tricolor sato puppy, born around late August 2026, sports short legs, soft floppy ears, and big dark eyes. He resembles a dachshund/beagle-type mix and is expected to remain small. HIS STORY: Gus was rescued from the streets of San Juan by a kind man who had no food or shelter. He held onto Gus and kept him safe until Buen Vecino could take him in. (Check out the heartwarming gallery photo of tiny Gus tucked in his rescuer's arms under the streetlights.) Since being rescued, Gus has received his first puppy vaccinations and enjoyed the comforts of a warm bed and a full belly. Heโ€™s still the gentle spirit who allowed a stranger to help him, and now heโ€™s ready for a forever home. PERSONALITY: Sweet, calm, and a champion napper, Gus loves to be held and cuddled.
