About Ophelia
Meet Ophelia, or Opie for short! This charming 3-month-old black and tan puppy weighs about 20 lbs and has a gentle spirit. More relaxed than her siblings, Opie holds the crucial role of βassistantβ pack leader in their puppy trio. Opheliaβs journey started when her mother, a 46 lb Greyhound/Cattle Dog mix named Willow, was found as a very pregnant stray in Port Lavaca, Texas. A kind soul took them in until the pups were weaned, at which point they made their way to the shelter. Given her lovely, webbed feet, Opie's dad is likely a Retriever/Hound mix, adding to her unique charm. This little lady is a social butterfly, getting along famously with people, dogs, and even kitty cats. She thrives on outdoor adventures and enjoys a good game of fetch or tug-of-war with her siblings. Smart and eager to learn, Ophelia already knows how to sit for treats. She's also on the path to being fully house trained, patiently waiting to be let outside when nature calls. Ophelia is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and comes with her veterinary records, ready for her forever home. The adoption fee is $600, and don't hesitate to ask about her!
