About Mike

Mike is a handsome 5-year-old Blue Lacy mix with a heart of gold. Weighing in at 33 lbs, he has a lean, athletic build that perfectly suits his playful nature. After being rescued from a dire situation at a shelter in Port Lavaca, Texas, Mike has made a remarkable recovery with the help of 4 Little Paws Rescue. Though he started off shy, he’s proven to be a sweetheart, quickly warming up to new people and dogs. Mike's medium energy level means he enjoys a good run, and he proudly accompanies his foster mom on jogs. He’s affectionate and loves sharing kisses, making him a true love bug. Mike does need a family that can be around more often, as he doesn't like being left alone for long periods and prefers the outdoors to a crate. Though he’s working on housebreaking and has made great strides on a schedule, he still lets you know when it’s time to go outside. Ideal for a work-from-home or retired household, Mike is ready to find his forever home and make someone very happy. Reach out to make Mike's dreams come true today!
