Meet Lena! This sweet girl is searching for her forever home. Lena is a lovely 10-month-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix and weighs about 33 pounds. She radiates sweetness and has so much love to share! Her journey started when she was brought into a Houston city shelter due to a confiscation case. While her past is uncertain, Lena's heart is full of warmth and affection, ready for a family to embrace her. Since joining her foster family, Lena has excelled, quickly adapting and showing her irresistible charm. She gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in her foster home and has been fantastic with young children, aged 2 and 6. Lena is crate-trained, sleeps soundly in her crate, and is making good progress with potty training—she’s still a puppy, after all. She walks well on a leash, enjoying outings and adventures with her humans. At 10 months, she’s still learning and will benefit from a family that offers patience and consistency as she develops her puppy manners. She’s ready to leave behind her past and start fresh in a loving home. Could you be the perfect match for her? Lena is available through Texas Bark Squad in Houston, Texas, and out-of-state adoptions with transportation can be arranged for approved adopters.
