About Marina special needs

Marina is a very special 6-pound long coat Chihuahua who needs a dedicated adopter. Rescued after her owner passed away, she hasn't had the socialization that most dogs enjoy, leading to some challenging behaviors. Marina bites, and that’s an important fact to acknowledge. After a month of decompressing, she still isn’t comfortable with handling, although she will take treats from your hand. Currently, she spends her time in an exercise pen indoors, surrounded by her bed and blankets. Marina is looking for someone who can invest the time and patience to help her adjust and build trust. She gets along well with small dogs but would do best in a home without children and with a female caretaker, as she tends to feel more comfortable around women. There is no adoption fee for an approved adopter. Think you can provide the support she needs? Let’s find her a loving home.
