About Max

Meet Max! Heโ€™s a 1-year-old Lab mix with some Collie and Bully traits who brings joy wherever he goes. Weighing about 60 lbs, Max is a friendly, playful boy known for his enthusiastic greetings, as if every human is a long-lost friend. You can often find him chasing balls, engaging in tug-of-war, or enjoying his world-class zoomies. Although he brings a lot of energy, he can entertain himself and loves his canine foster siblings, even if they're seniors who sometimes tire of his high spirits. At home, Max is a good boy in his crate, napping quietly until itโ€™s time to play. Heโ€™s never shown signs of food or toy aggression. Since arriving, heโ€™s made impressive strides in his training. While he initially had a tendency to pull on the leash and counter-surf, his progress has been significant in just a few weeks. Max thrives in an environment that offers structure and consistency; he would do best in a family that can provide training and guidance. While he hasnโ€™t been tested with cats, he is great with children of all ages, though older kids may be a better fit due to his size and exuberance. Ready to make a new friend?
