About Sally
Sally is a three-year-old yellow Lab mix with a heart of gold. She’s thriving in her foster home, taking cues from the two resident dogs she loves to follow around. Having another dog for company really helps Sally’s confidence—she depends on her canine buddies to show her the ropes and help her feel at ease. Playful, loving, and loyal to her pack, Sally still carries some fears about new people and unfamiliar situations, but she’s steadily getting braver as each day passes. She’s house trained, walks nicely on leash, and knows her basic commands, happily showing off her sit-and-fetch skills. Walks with her foster family and dog friends are the highlight of her day. Because Sally is timid and startles easily, she needs an adult-only home; children are simply too overwhelming for her. Sally’s gentle nature fits best with adopters who can go slow, respect her boundaries, and provide a steady routine, ideally with another dog in the home. Sally is spayed and current on vaccines. She’s ready for someone willing to meet her where she is and help her keep growing. Your new best friend is just one click away.

Questions about Sally
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Yellow Labrador Retrievers like Sally are adaptable but thrive in households that offer companionship and routine. Given Sally's timid temperament, she does best in calm, adult-only homes with another dog.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Sally, as a Labrador mix, will benefit from daily walks and a secure yard or access to nearby parks. Enough outdoor space for play and exercise is ideal but not mandatory if walks and activity are provided.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Labs are usually good with kids, but Sally is specifically looking for an adult-only home due to her fearfulness around children.
