About Trip
Meet Trip, a truly remarkable dog ready to capture your heart. At five years old, he endured a harrowing experience after being hit by a car. This brave boy dragged himself to safety, showing unbelievable resilience. While currently paralyzed from the waist down, Trip remains unaffected in spirit. With love and dedicated physical therapy, there's hope he might regain movement in his back legs down the line. Trip has adapted flawlessly to his wheelchair, zipping around with an infectious joy. He’s affectionate and sassy, always eager for attention and companionship. Imagine taking him on long walks along the beach or down the pavement, where he can truly shine. Caring for a special needs dog may seem daunting, but support from our team will be there every step of the way. We know there’s a family out there perfect for Trip. Even if you’re not the right fit, sharing his story could lead to his forever home. Remember, adopting a special needs dog is challenging but immensely rewarding! Adoption is $275, which covers spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, a microchip, and a clean bill of health. Although we work on potty training, please note that full house training before adoption isn’t guaranteed. Transitions can sometimes lead to regression. Let’s help Trip find his perfect match!
