About Skittles

Meet Skittles! This adorable little guy is the newest puppy at our rescue. At under a year old and weighing just 10 pounds, he has the cutest long legs. Skittles came to us as a stray with a badly matted coat, but after much-needed grooming, he's ready for a fresh start. Currently, Skittles is still learning that the world can be a safe place. He's very shy and unsure about new experiences, including walking on a leash and being in a crate. The good news? He absolutely loves other dogs! Having a friendly, confident canine companion would help him thrive. Skittles is seeking a special person or family who can offer the patience, love, and time he needs to build his confidence. Because he’s not yet comfortable with leash walks, a securely fenced yard would be ideal for him to explore and play safely as he adjusts. Sometimes, the dogs who need us the most are the ones who love us the hardest. If you’re ready to give Skittles a chance, we’d love to hear from you. Click apply to start the adoption process.
