About Lago

Meet Lago! He’s a lovable boy in search of his forever home. Lago spent over a month wandering a subdivision before being rescued, always near the neighborhood lake, which inspired his name—Lago means "lake" in Spanish. This sweet dog has a lovely personality. He thrives on human companionship and is house-trained, leash-trained, and understands commands like "sit," "wait," and "come." Lago enjoys outdoor activities, especially soaking up sunshine and playing with a basketball or the water hose. While he's a playful guy, he appreciates gentle interactions. Lago has shown he can tolerate playful dogs but prefers a calm canine friend or could be the only dog to soak up all the attention. He’s also a strong boy, and due to his enthusiastic nature, a home with older children may suit him best. After a tough time on his own, Lago is now looking for a loving family that can provide him with a safe environment and adventures. Could Lago be your new best friend?
