Meet Lizzie, your potential new couch buddy and snack negotiating expert! She's not looking for marathon training partners but rather someone who enjoys a more relaxed evening at home. Found as a pregnant stray in Houston, Lizzie has come a long way. She’s been spayed and is eager to trade her tough start for a comfy home and loving family. Her days revolve around lounging, soaking up belly rubs, indulging in tasty treats, and enjoying brief outdoor adventures. Although she may bark a bit to let you know someone’s around, her quiet nature shines indoors. A little shy around new people, Lizzie is known for her affectionate side once she warms up. Patience is key, and you’ll find that with some belly rubs, you’ll win her heart. She is crate trained and mostly potty trained too. Routine helps her thrive, and she’s currently learning the ropes of leash walking, though she might sometimes prefer to go at her own pace. Snacks are a great motivator for training! Lizzie appears to get along with other dogs but can be a little shy in social situations. She values her space, especially when it comes to food and naps, so separate feeding areas are ideal.
