A young mix of German Shepherd and Australian Cattle Dog, Pegleg Pete's journey has been challenging. After being hit by a car, he underwent an amputation to ensure a happier and more comfortable life. Since then, he's adjusted beautifully and hasn't let his past hold him back. Pegleg Pete has a calm personality that won the hearts of his rescuers, saving him from euthanasia. He’s fantastic with kids and gets along well with other dogs. You won’t find a friendlier pup around; he has a knack for making everyone feel welcome. He’s kennel and leash trained, ready to enjoy walks and playtime with you. Once the fun wraps up, Pegleg Pete just wants to hang out and be part of the family. After overcoming so much, he simply needs a home to call his own.
