About Lizzie
Meet Lizzie, the mellow girl who takes belly rubs very seriously. If your perfect evening involves a comfy couch, a snack, and a dog snoozing beside you, Lizzie is your match. Found as a stray in Houston, she was pregnant at the time. Now spayed, she’s ready for a family to call her own. Lizzie is as easygoing as they come. She enjoys lounging, soaking up belly rubs, and stepping outside for some fresh air. Inside, she’s quiet but will bark to alert you if someone approaches. Although she’s a bit nervous around new people, she warms up with patience. Once she knows you’re a good one, she’ll roll over for all the belly rubs you can offer. Crate trained and mostly house trained, she benefits from a consistent bathroom routine. Leash walking is still a work in progress, but she’s food-motivated, making training a bit easier. Lizzie seems to like other dogs but has some boundaries. She enjoys her personal space, especially during meals and nap time, so respect for her comfort level is essential. Lizzie isn’t looking for a bustling home. Instead, she'd thrive in a laid-back environment with someone who understands her need for patience as she builds confidence. Save a spot on the couch for her, keep treats handy, and give her time to adjust. She promises it will be worth it. If you’re interested in meeting Lizzie, what are you waiting for? Apply today!
