About Mimi: Barn Cat

Meet Mimi, a quiet and independent cat looking for her own peaceful outdoor space. At around 7 to 8 years old, she thrives in settings like barns or stables where she can be the only cat. Mimi prefers to keep to herself during the day, finding comfort in cozy hiding spots, but she comes alive at night, when she feels safe enough to explore her surroundings. Though not overly social, Mimi does show signs of trust by curling up on a bed when alone. However, she’s quick to retreat if approached too closely. She’s observant and well-suited for a job that allows her to embrace her natural instincts. With basic care—food, water, and shelter—Mimi will adjust and thrive in the right environment. If you’re seeking a low-maintenance feline companion who values her independence, Mimi might just be the perfect fit. Contact info@forgottencats.org to inquire about Mimi and our Barn Cat program.
