About Emma

Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Emma is a beautiful female tabico cat, around 1 to 3 years old as of April 2024. With a constant gentle purr and an adorable little squeak, Emma truly lives up to her 'Supurr-Machine' nickname. She adores being petted along her back and, once comfortable, under her chin. This affectionate girl delights in following her human companions around, eager to be part of everyday life with you. Emma’s playful spirit shines when wand toys, mice, or crinkly balls are around. This, along with her fondness for people, suggests she was cherished as a pet before finding her way to Forgotten Cats. Even though Emma was already spayed, she did not have a microchip when she arrived. While she tolerates other cats, Emma would likely thrive as the only cat in the household and prefers a home without dogs. Volunteers note Emma flourishes most with an adopter who understands cat behavior and is sensitive to her moods—she deeply enjoys affection but on her own terms and may take a bit longer to feel safe in a new environment. Emma is not suited for homes with small children or dogs and would find peace as a solo companion or with a feline friend who respects her space. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
