About Charro

Charro is an approximately 7-month-old male Shepherd mix with a striking mostly black coat, accented by a hint of white on his chest. He was found alongside his siblings, Elle and Norte, running loose near a restaurant in Chino Valley, likely abandoned. Initially frightened and skittish, they had to be humanely trapped for their safety. Charro is gradually warming up to people, showing that he’s a sweet and affectionate boy beneath that shyness. Treats are definitely the key to his heart. Charro gets along well with other dogs, and he’s also good with children. He has received his first DAPP vaccination and will require two more boosters, which will be at the adopter's expense. He’s scheduled for neutering, microchipping, and a rabies vaccination in December, but he can be adopted beforehand. The adopter will need to transport him to and from the vet for his appointment. This lovable pup is making great strides, and with a bit of patience and care, he can become a cherished companion. Could you be the one to show him how wonderful life can be?
