About Ghost ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED
Meet Ghost! Ghost is a 65-pound neutered male Siberian Husky mix, ready for adoption or foster. He is currently at our shelter in Pembroke, Massachusetts, after being brought in as an owner surrender. Personality-wise, Ghost is friendly, affectionate, and full of energy. He enjoys walks, playtime, and cuddles, and thrives when he has an outlet for his physical and mental stimulation. Like many Huskies, he benefits from exercise and training. Ghost is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well when properly fitted with a prong collar. He is currently in a board and train program focused on obedience and managing stimulation. His new owners will need to continue with training to help him succeed. While he can be selective with other dogs, he did have a positive experience with another male dog, so introductions should be handled with care. Ghost cannot live with cats and has unknown experience with children. Importantly, Ghost has a reported bite history due to overstimulation. This requires an adopter who understands how to manage his energy and arousal levels. An experienced home familiar with Huskies or similar breeds is a must. He doesnβt require a fenced yard but needs secure handling. Ghost is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on preventatives. He will be ready for adoption or foster after completing his training program. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
