Zuko and his companion Tootsie were returned to this rescue after four years with their previous family; they simply didn’t have enough time for them anymore. It’s puzzling, but we are determined to help Zuko secure the loving home he deserves this time. Zuko is social and gets along well with other dogs. He loves to play outside and will gladly join you in the yard. Still, his favorite pastime is being close to his humans. Cuddles, pets, and lounging next to you are his love languages. Although Zuko handles life in rescue remarkably well, he needs a home where someone is around more frequently. He isn’t destructive, but he tends to bark if left alone for too long, so apartment living might not be ideal for him.
