About Chip fostered in SE
Meet Chip! Some dogs are dignified, but Chip is a delightful mix of goofy, joyful, and bouncy. This 3-year-old Beagle mix brings uncontainable enthusiasm to everything he does, much like a child enjoying their favorite treat. Weighing in at around 30 pounds, Chip fills the day with laughter as he races around the yard, cuddles with his people, and tries to share the bed. His charming technique of balancing on his back legs for attention is hard to resist, especially with that soulful “Please?” expression. Chip is well on his way with leash walking and potty training, and he’s even figured out how to use a dog door. Mealtimes in the crate are a joy for him, but he does have some quirks. As the self-appointed Assistant Kitchen Inspector, he has a keen interest in food and chewables, so those should be kept out of reach. He also has an escape artist streak, so it’s essential that his new family stays vigilant when doors or gates are open. A particular nuance is that Chip isn’t fond of tall men with deep voices, but he prefers to keep the backstory to himself. Chip is a blend of sweetness, silliness, and stubbornness, making him utterly lovable. With a bit of affection, a few stuffed toys, some structure, and a warm spot beside you, he promises to keep the smiles coming. Chip is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on monthly prevention. He’s currently living in southeast Nebraska, positioned conveniently between Omaha and Kansas City. His foster family may be open to travel for a meet-and-greet. Chip isn’t searching for perfection; he’s looking for his people. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
