About Thunder

Meet Thunder! This one-year-old heeler mix weighs 32 pounds and is currently looking for his perfect family. After being dumped at a vet's office, he found a caring foster home where he's thriving. His foster mom affectionately calls him Thumper because he’s anything but stormy. Thunder is laid-back and sweet, often found sleeping on his back. He loves to play chase with his best buddy, Cady, racing through the yard. You'll often find him getting a bit silly—like when he hit a puddle of water and slid right in. Thunder isn’t particularly interested in toys but prefers to nestle his bed in a corner, opting for the cool floor instead. He's learning the ropes, showing that he's sensitive to raised voices but quickly becomes a shadow once trust is built. At times, he can be a bit cautious when called, but once he feels secure, he’s happily jumping around. He’s neutered, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated, ready to step into his new life. Thunder is currently in Tennessee but is set to be transported to New England for adoption. The adoption fee is $550, covering a health certificate and travel. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
