Though he’s still learning the ropes of puppy life, Zane is an affectionate and eager learner. He is best suited for a home with another established dog to help guide him. He is eager for love and companionship, ready to bring joy to the right family.

About Zane

Meet Zane! Zane is one of three Heeler pups rescued from the backroads of rural Mississippi. He and his brothers were brought to safety by a compassionate man, and we quickly stepped in to help. At only about 6 months old, Zane is a sweet boy still figuring out the basics of puppy life. He is learning what it feels like to sleep on a soft dog bed, wear a collar, and enjoy meals from a real dog bowl. Everything is new for him, but he's starting to realize that this world is full of love and safety. Zane has already been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for worms. He is currently in a loving foster home, where he's decompressing and learning to just be a puppy. Because of his background, we believe Zane would thrive best in a home with a fenced yard and an established dog. Having a dog buddy will help him build confidence and learn the things he missed in his early months. Zane is safe, loved, and ready to find his forever family.
