Rug is a charming little gentleman we rescued from a tough situation in California, where he and two other dogs were abandoned. At approximately 4 years old and weighing just 8 pounds, Rug embodies the playful spirit of a Toy Poodle and Chihuahua mix. He is sweet and affectionate, showing a particular fondness for women owners but getting along well with men too—he simply gravitates more to the ladies. Rug thrives in the company of other dogs, and we’d be excited to see him paired with a playful canine companion. While we haven't officially tested him, he is likely fine with cats. Rug does best in homes with kids aged 10 and up. He is house trained, comfortably uses a doggie door, and has mastered his potty habits. This little guy sleeps soundly in his crate at night and walks well on a leash without any reactivity noticed. Rug has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for heartworm.
