Gatsby Meet Gatsby, a loving, upbeat, curious, and sweet three-year-old who weighs nine pounds! He’s happiest on your lap and loves following his people around to see what’s going on. He can be a little nervous at first with new people and places, but he quickly comes out of his shell and loves to explore and make new friends. Gatsby likes other dogs, though he’s a bit timid around big ones. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and doing great on his walks as he gets used to the leash. He loves seeing new parts of the city and meeting people on the street, and he’s just as happy being carried around in a tote, a carrier, or your arms! He has moderate energy and does well with three to four short walks a day. He isn’t into toys, so his favorite activities are walks and lap time. Gatsby would do best in a calm to moderate home, ideally with someone who works from home so he can curl up in their lap all day. He’s a great apartment buddy. What his foster says about him: “Gatsby is the cutest and most loving dog in the world. He’s so eager to give and receive love. Adopting Gatsby will be an incredibly rewarding experience.” Gatsby previously tested positive for heartworm and was treated before traveling north. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
