About Pinto
Meet Pinto, also known as "Bean," "Baby," or "Stinker Boy." This charming seven-year-old Chihuahua/Pug mix weighs ten pounds and brings a delightful mix of affection and low to moderate energy. Pinto enjoys his naps and follows his human around like a loyal shadow, always ready for a playful moment with his favorite tennis ball. Pinto adapts easily to new situations and has a knack for winning people over. After spending a weekend with three kids, all vying for cuddle time during movie nights, it’s clear he’s a favorite among families. He comfortably shares his space with a larger dog, growing braver and more confident by the day. Whether it's meeting guests or spending time alone, he’s well-rounded and sociable. Almost fully potty trained, Pinto is excellent on a leash and loves to roam the yard off-leash, chasing after his ball. He knows commands like sit, come, and stay, and responds well to praise. Pinto thrives on companionship, so he’ll do best with someone willing to shower him with affection and attention. This lovable boy was treated for heartworm prior to coming north, and he’s ready to find his forever home with someone who will adore him. What his foster says about him: "Since Pinto arrived, I have seriously fallen in love with this guy. He really has a great demeanor and is truly sooo easy going. He just wants to nap, cuddle, be held for hours, and constantly loved on." Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
