About Harley
Meet Harley! Harley is an adult neutered golden retriever/Aussie mix who has a big heart. Heโs six years old and packed with love to give. Early in his life, he faced some tough times after being dumped in Palmdale, CA. Thankfully, an elderly woman took him in, but as he grew bigger, he spent too much time alone in the backyard, missing out on the human interaction he craved. When his owner passed away, her family just couldn't bear to let him end up in a high-kill shelter and instead found Yavapai Humane Trappers to take him in. Harley loves being around his people, and heโs always up for some attention and play. He enjoys soft toys and has a goofy personality that shines through. He is crate-trained and responds well to mild corrections, showing heโs quick to learn. Harley is not fond of cats but can get along with dogs given proper introductions. He is fine around older kids. His adoption fee is sponsored by his rescuers, who want him to have the best future possible. Theyโre also covering his upcoming training at Candid Canine starting in mid-November. After years of missing love, Harley deserves a wonderful second chance filled with patience, attention, and the right training to help him shine. Ready to bring joy into your life?
