Slade, our resident Evil Knievel He’s full of tricks, never a dull moment, and an absolute sweetheart. Slade is a Heeler through and through: extremely intelligent, energetic, and happiest when he has something to do. He’ll need a secure fence and a family with time to give him exercise, structure, and plenty of attention. Slade isn’t the kind of guy to spend all day lounging on the sofa he’d love an active person/family who enjoys keeping up with a clever, and very intelligent kind of dog!! Slade has been a little guarded around other dogs, so we haven’t pushed him into dog introductions. We want to respect his comfort and set him up for success. I would say possibly he needs to be the only dog for a while until he feels comfortable with dog introductions. If you’re looking for a sidekick with a big personality, Slade might be your guy! He is such a good dog. All of our dogs come fully vetted and ready for their next chapter!
