About Minnie D

Meet Minnie! This sweet girl is the perfect blend of playful puppy and laid-back cuddle buddy. Everything is still a new adventure for Minnie, but she approaches the world with a little caution and gains confidence quickly. She may be a bit shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long before everyone becomes her friend! Minnie is incredibly affectionate and happiest when she's close to her people. Whether she's walking right by your side, nudging your leg for pets, or lounging nearby on the couch, she just wants to be part of your world. She's also a natural on the leash and loves playing fetch, tossing toys around by herself, and chewing on her favorite rubber toys, balls, stuffies, and bones. Watching her entertain herself by throwing her own toys around is sure to make you smile! Just keep an eye on those Crocs! For a puppy, Minnie has a wonderfully chill personality. She's just as happy playing as she is settling down beside her favorite humans or canine friends. She enjoys having her kennel as a safe space but can feel nervous when confined alone, so she'll benefit from a family willing to help her build confidence with that. She's also making great progress with new experiences, including car rides, which were initially scary but are becoming much easier. Minnie is still learning her home skills, including house training and basic commands. She's already learning to sit and lie down, and she responds especially well to praise and encouragement. She's eager to make her people happy, and with patience, consistency, and plenty of love, she'll continue to blossom. Because she's a bigger pup who doesn't always realize her own size, a home without small children may be the best fit. If you're looking for a loving, easygoing companion who will make you laugh with her silly antics, happily join you for playtime, and then settle in close for some quality togetherness, Minnie could be your girl! She's a whole lot of sweetness wrapped up in one adorable puppy package.
