Dog's Name: Gus Gender: Male Current Age: 12 weeks Current Age Range: Puppy (Less than 6 months) Current Weight: 16 lbs Expected Adult Size: Large (50-100 lbs) Breed: Mixed breed Energy Level: Medium Dog Friendlly: Yes, and can have other dogs in the home or can be an only dog. Cat Friendly: Unknown Kids: Yes, any age Fence Requirements: Physical fence preferred but not required with regular walks/exercise Crate Trained: Yes Potty Trained: Not fully potty trained, working on it Ideal Home / Adopter: Gus would be a great fit for just about any loving home! He's honestly one of the easiest, best-behaved puppies his foster has had. He's playful and fun but also really sweet and easy to have around. He loves other dogs and does a great job taking cues from them, so he'd be happy with a doggy sibling. But he would also be fine as an only dog. Mostly, he just needs a family who will give him lots of love and cuddles and be patient with him for house training. Likes: Gus loves cuddling with his people, finding a sunny spot to snooze, playing with his puppy friends, and chewing on toys and bones. He's equally happy playing with other dogs or just hanging out and soaking up some love. He's also happy in his crate and will elect to go in there sometimes when he's tired. Dislikes: We honestly haven't found much that Gus doesn't like. He's a pretty easygoing little guy who seems happy with just about everything. What makes this dog special?: We can't emphasize enough what an easy puppy Gus is! He's one of the best-behaved puppies we've had, and he's such a joy to have around. He does great with other dogs, is comfortable in his crate, and has such a sweet, loving personality. He's still working on house training, but otherwise he'll be a perfect pup for some loving family. Adoption fee is $400. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchip if you choose to return to our affiliated vet office for the procedure. The puppy will be up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative.
