Meet Sweet Marisol! Poor Marisol's journey started out as a heartbreaking mess. This absolute angel was wandering the streets as a stray, faced with the unimaginable terror of being scheduled for euthanasia simply because of her overwhelming medical needs. But thanks to a second chance at life, her story has completely transformed. At about 3.5 to 4 years old and weighing in at a sturdy 27 pounds, Marisol is an adorable French Bulldog mix (with a charming touch of English Bulldog!). Despite a very rough start-including likely being used as a breeding dog and coming to us with a fractured rear leg-she is remarkably forgiving, resilient, and overflowing with love. Her Medical Update The Leg: Her healed rear leg was evaluated by both the orthopedist at LVVSC and our personal vet. Because she is in no pain, gets around, and plays just like any other dog, surgery is not needed, and vets recommended leaving her leg as is! The Works: While she was under anesthesia for her spay, Marisol got the full VIP treatment! We took care of her stained teeth with a fresh dental cleaning and safely removed benign masses from her rear leg. Skin Care: She has a mild case of alopecia, but an antifungal foam manages it wonderfully. Her Personality Marisol is the sweetest soul you will ever meet. She gets along beautifully with all dogs, adores people, actively seeks out affection, and is more than ready to shower you in kisses. She has blossomed into a happy, playful girl who doesn't let her past slow her down for a single second. She is perfectly imperfect, and she will bring more joy into your life than you can possibly imagine. We know Marisol's true forever family is out there waiting for her! Ready to Adopt?
